This year, we are pleased to announce that the Global Maritime Conference 2024 will take place at the historic Port of London Authority Building in London. From December 18-20, 2024, over 800 maritime industry representatives and policymakers will come together to discuss topics such as safety and security, sustainable, and innovative technologies, current trends in global maritime policy, as well as opportunities and challenges facing the industry. At this three-day event, participants will have the chance to exchange ideas, network, and learn from some of the leading voices in the maritime sector. Participants can also look forward to actively engaging in stimulating discussions and tailored workshops, as well as exclusive networking opportunities.
We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an inspiring and fruitful event, where key stakeholders in the maritime sector will have the chance to shape the future of global maritime policy and practices.

Maritime law, also known as admiralty law, is a body of laws, conventions, and treaties that govern private maritime business and other nautical matters, such as shipping or offenses occurring on open water. International rules, governing the use of the oceans and seas, are known as the Law of the Sea.

Global Maritime Conference 2023 - Registration Terms and Conditions
Registration Requirements
All participants, including speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, must register online for the Global Maritime Conference 2023 before the event. The registration process requires completion of a registration form, acceptance of these terms and conditions, and payment of the applicable registration fee.
Registration Fees
Registration fees are based on the participant type and registration date. Early bird rates apply until October 1, 2023. After this date, standard rates apply. All fees are listed in GBP (Great Britain Pounds) and include VAT (Value Added Tax).
Payment Terms
Payment for registration fees must be made in full at the time of registration. Payment can be made online using major credit cards. Payment can also be made via bank transfer or check. Please note that your registration is not complete until payment has been received and processed.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Global Maritime Conference 2023 registration office. Cancellations received before October 1, 2023, will be refunded in full, less a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date. Substitutions are allowed at any time and must be submitted in writing to the registration office.
Privacy Policy
The Global Maritime Conference 2023 values your privacy. Personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purpose of event management and will not be shared with any third parties without your consent.
Photography and Video Release
By registering for the Global Maritime Conference 2023, you grant permission to the event organizers to photograph and/or video record your attendance. You understand that these photographs and/or videos may be used for promotional purposes in print, online, and other forms of media.
Liability Waiver
By registering for the Global Maritime Conference 2023, you acknowledge and agree that you are voluntarily participating in the event and assume all risks associated with participation. You release the Global Maritime Conference 2023 and its organizers, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property that may occur during the event.
By submitting your registration, you agree to these terms and conditions and certify that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Overview:
NAMC 2024 will be an in-person conference; authors must attend and present at the conference in person.
Papers may have multiple authors; at least one author must register for and attend the conference
The submitting author should input all author details and upload their abstract using the abstract submission form.
Authors should indicate the type of submission (paper, poster, dialogic) on the form and whether they are willing to accept an alternate format.

Session Types:
▪︎ Oral Sessions
These face-to-face live sessions are approximately 15 minutes followed by a question period. They can address a range of theoretical, educational, or research-based topics relating to but not limited to the conference theme.
▪︎ Poster Sessions
Posters will be displayed in hard copy format and presented in real time and space with a question period. They can address a range of theoretical, educational, or research-based topics relating to but not limited to the conference theme.
▪︎ Dialogic Sessions
These interactive 55-minute sessions may propose innovative formats and should involve active participation and engagement of session attendees. They can address a range of theoretical, educational, or research-based topics relating to but not limited to the conference theme, and are intended to invite dialogue, discussion, and collegial debate.
