REQUIREMENTS: This is hands-on training, so a laptop computer with administrative rights is required. Please note that this is an in-person event only, there are no virtual/remote attendance options.
OVERVIEW: Three days of general feature training addressing basic concepts and recommended procedures for geotechnical and mining numerical analysis. Topics to be covered during the three-day course include an introduction to 3DEC, theoretical background, important concepts, numerical modeling fundamentals, model building, constitutive models and material properties, joints, joint models and joint properties, solving, monitoring and interpretation, FISH introduction, Dynamics, structures, fluid, and example applications.
