The AEF conference continues to provide an opportunity for attendees to showcase their research, engage with fellow faculty, and learn about new trends in the world of economics and finance. Topics related to economics, finance, and economics/finance education will be considered for presentation. We also welcome graduate and undergraduate students to showcase their research!
The conference will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel at 387 King St. Charleston, SC 29403. The conference room rate is $195/night, and self-parking is $20/night. Valet parking is also available for an additional charge.

To submit an abstract, please click "register" and follow the prompts. You must register in order to submit an abstract. If your abstract is not accepted, you may be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received on or before January 10, 2024, to receive a partial refund. If your abstract was accepted, $60 of your registration fee is non-refundable. Cancellations received after January 10, 2024, are not eligible for a refund.
