About the Summit

In conjunction with the Arctic Circle Assembly from October 12-14, 2025, the IDRA Reykjavik Summit on Water and Climate Change will take place at the iconic Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Center in Iceland—one of the world’s most stunning and environmentally conscious countries with breathtaking landscapes and a commitment to environmental sustainability.

The alignment with the Arctic Circle Assembly 2025 underscores a shared commitment to fostering global collaboration on climate resilience and sustainable development, uniting voices and expertise from diverse sectors to amplify the impact of both gatherings.

IDRA opens a Call for Technical Program Abstract and the Case Study Submissions on various topics related to unconventional water resources to mitigate the effects of climate change on clean water availability. Submissions will be peer-reviewed and accepted based on merit.
